Homework Support
During homework support, students receive extra help to meet their needs to complete assignments. They are guided to ensure mastery of skills by being provided with valuable review and practice. As a result, past and current students have increased scores, received passing grades, and more importantly boosted their confidence.
Flexible support $40/hr.

Math
Elementary Math
Instructional lessons concentrate on mathematical topics in specific grade level standards (Common Core State Standards) from arithmetic operations with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions to measurement and data. Students gain a deeper understanding of concepts through both conceptual and procedural skills application.
Pre-Algebra
Students use the concept of rate and ratio to solve real-life problems. In addition, students will learn to write, interpret and use expressions and equations, and understand the use of variables. They will practice skill application and algebraic reasoning in problem solving.
Reading
Our K-3 program includes a systematic approach to teaching foundational reading skills that strengthen skills in phonics and phonemic awareness. In Upper Elementary Reading, students read both informational and narrative texts, receiving guided instruction in vocabulary and comprehension.

Writing
Students will develop and strengthen their writing skills through instructional lessons focused on grammar and vocaublary. They are then guided on creating wonderful writing pieces using a gained thorough understanding of implementing each step of the writing process. Multiple essays are created as students are exposed to a variety of genres.
